Made with pure merino that is not superwash treated, the label suggests machine washing on gentle. However the European machines have more suitable settings for handknits than our North American machines, so we recommend that you hand wash your garments. It is soft and beautiful!
Merino wool is not only insulating, but also wicks moisture away from the body and retains heat even when moist, thanks to the structure of the fibers. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water before it starts to feel wet.
